ABOUT
WELCOME TO
PITCHWOOD ALEHOUSE
Pitchwood Alehouse is more than just a place to grab a bite – it’s a vibrant piece of Raymond, Washington’s history, blending modern charm with a rich, storied past. Established in 2012, Pitchwood Alehouse was born from the legacy of the Top Notch Tavern, a popular local establishment that first opened its doors in 1934 to serve the logging community. Known for its rowdy patrons and lively atmosphere, the Top Notch became a cornerstone of downtown Raymond. Today, Pitchwood Alehouse honors that legacy, offering a welcoming, family-friendly environment while staying true to its roots.
We take pride in serving fresh, locally sourced ingredients and pairing them with one of the best selections of craft beer in the area. With 19 rotating taps and a menu that has received awards and accolades, Pitchwood Alehouse is a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike. From our handcrafted flatbread pizzas and famous burgers to our house specials, we aim to deliver not just a meal but an experience.

At Pitchwood Alehouse, we’re committed to providing a warm atmosphere, exceptional service, and food that leaves a lasting impression. Over the years, we’ve been recognized for Best Lunch and Best Wait Staff in the Best of Twin Harbors, and our burgers have been named among the best in Southwest Washington.

Whether you’re stopping by after a long day exploring Raymond or looking for a great spot to enjoy with family and friends, Pitchwood Alehouse offers a cozy retreat where everyone feels at home. Come experience the blend of history, great food, and unbeatable service that makes us a standout in the Pacific Northwest.
